Serving the people of Ruabon

Cllr Elise Jackson

Cllr Elise Jackson

Vice Chairman

Cllr Elise Jackson was co-opted to represent the North Ward of the Community Council in May 2022.

I have lived in Ruabon for the last 10 years with my husband and our three young children. I attended the local primary and high school in my youth and I am very proud of our lovely village. I am passionate about working with people in the local community, making a positive difference to their lives and caring for our locality. I have been part of the Ruabon Community Council since March 2020 and so far, I have found it to be an interesting and fulfilling challenge. I have been working for the most part on the forthcoming plans for a new Childcare building and I am very excited by the prospect of bringing this wonderful new facility to our village.

I currently work for Transport for Wales as a Community Engagement Officer covering all of North Wales. I believe that the knowledge and skills I use at work, as well as my natural interest in promoting the well being of people in my own community put me in good stead to serve the people of Ruabon through my work on the Community Council.
